Re-Do

I have the winter blues, man.

Like, I feel sad when I don't have cool plans.

And, all of my clothes in my closet are staring back and laughing at me.

Also, I read blogs but can't muster up a comment.

Additionally, I have meltdowns where I laugh at myself for being ridiculous, and then laughter turns to tears. And then my husband gives me funny looks.

So I have decided that redecorating our bedroom is a good way to pull me out of my funk and I think it is actually working. We rearranged, bought some new accessories, and I have some new bedding on the way. I have a purple and gray theme going on that I think is going to be calming and sexy. Before, our bedroom wasn't really a finished room...it was more of just a collection of crap that didn't go anywhere else in the house.

What about you guys, do you ever get in a "winter funk?" What do you do to pull yourself out?

totally. And I think making sure I have a few busy social days in a row pulls me out of it. Because then when they're over, I'm actually glad to be at home doing nothing.

I definitely get in a funk and it sucks. I try to make plans with friends, even if its just something as mundane as going to get coffee. I also watch a lot of DVDs because lately I haven't even felt like reading. I think redoing your bedroom sounds like a perfect midwinter project. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that spring comes early this year.

Oh man winter funks are BAD. I make myself go out for dinner or movie and just get some fresh air so I don't hide in my apartment all the time :(

Pictures of the new bedroom please!
